Golf Cart Rental Policy — Enterprise Golf Cart Rentals
Rental Terms, Payment, Cancellations & Driving Rules in San Pedro, Belize
Before confirming your golf cart rental with Enterprise, please review the following policies.
These conditions explain who can rent and drive our golf carts, how reservations are confirmed, what happens if you cancel, and the responsibilities that apply during your rental.

1. Driver Age & License Requirements
To rent an Enterprise golf cart, you must:
Be at least 18 years old.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Carry your driver’s license whenever operating the rental golf cart.
Drivers are responsible for following applicable traffic laws and the rental conditions throughout their stay.
2. Reservations & Online Payment
Enterprise accepts rental requests through our Book Now page.
After submitting your request, our reservations team will contact you to confirm availability, rental dates, cart requirements, pricing, and delivery arrangements.
Full payment of the rental amount is required online on the day of booking to confirm and secure your reservation.
Enterprise provides a secure online payment option for completing the reservation.
Submitting the reservation form alone does not confirm a rental. Your reservation must be confirmed through the booking and payment process.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that travel plans sometimes change.
Enterprise’s cancellation terms are:
Cancellation before arrival day
A 50% refund of the rental payment is provided when a booking is cancelled before the scheduled arrival day.
Cancellation on arrival day
No refund is provided for cancellations made on the scheduled arrival day.

Requests to change rental dates or arrangements should be discussed directly with Enterprise. The current published policy does not specify separate rescheduling or modification entitlements.
4. Fuel Policy
All Enterprise golf carts are provided with a full tank of gasoline at the beginning of the rental.
Customers are required to return the golf cart with the same amount of gasoline.
Please allow sufficient time to refuel before returning your rental.
5. Passenger Capacity
For passenger safety, each golf cart has a maximum occupancy:

Do not exceed the designated passenger capacity of your rental golf cart.
If you are traveling with a larger group, please request the appropriate number and size of carts when making your reservation.
6. Responsible Golf Cart Driving
Golf carts are a common form of transportation on Ambergris Caye, but drivers must still obey local traffic regulations.
When operating an Enterprise rental golf cart:
Never drive while under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
Obey posted traffic signs, one-way streets, and parking restrictions.
Do not exceed the golf cart’s passenger capacity.
Avoid parking within 30 feet of street corners.
Do not park along street areas marked with red no-parking lines.
Keep taxi-designated parking spaces available for authorized taxis.
Drivers are responsible for operating their rental carts safely and complying with applicable local regulations.
7. Driving & Parking in San Pedro Town
Visitors should pay particular attention to one-way streets, parking areas, and restrictions in downtown San Pedro.
Enterprise’s existing local driving guidance identifies the following:
Barrier Reef Drive — Front Street
A northbound one-way street, with parking on the right side where permitted.
Pescador Drive — Middle Street
A southbound one-way street, with parking on the right side where permitted.
Angel Coral Street — Back Street
A two-way street, with parking identified on the east side where permitted.
Central Park Area
The existing Enterprise guidance identifies evening and overnight road restrictions around Central Park on weekends.
Important: Road closures, traffic directions, and designated parking areas may change. Always follow current road signs, barriers, traffic officers, and local instructions, even if they differ from this guide.
Taxi Parking Areas
Taxi parking zones are reserved for taxis. Parking a rental golf cart in a designated taxi area may result in a traffic ticket.

8. Assistance During Your Rental
Enterprise advertises 24/7 roadside assistance for rental customers.
If you experience a mechanical problem during your rental, contact the team and provide your location and a description of the issue.
Our staff can assess the problem and coordinate the appropriate assistance, repair, or replacement.
